Inverted "XX" Counter Error T18 $20 1861 PF-5 Cr. 109.A great Confederate error where the lower right "XX" counter is upside-down. This is the first time that we have been able to auction an example of this rare error note. Pierre Fricke classifies it as a rarity of R10 in his Field Edition 2014 with 21 to 50 known. This beautiful example has four broad margins and grades PCGS Choice About New 55 while weighing in as the finest known according to the Fricke condition census.
