Description
CTXX-1/C1 $20 1861 Female Riding Deer Bogus Note PMG About Uncirculated 50.Tremmel lists face tint colors as red, orange, green, or yellow. To your cataloger's eyes, the tint appears to be an ochre-like earth tone, so perhaps this qualifies as a toned yellow tint. We have not offered this hue previously, however, in this auction there is a similar color on another CTXX-1/C1 example grading PMG CU 63. The so-called "F" back design is printed in green. PMG mentions some small body holes which are not overly distracting.
Estimate: $250 - up.
