Virginia October 5, 1778 $3 PMG Very Fine 25 NET. A rare and underrated issue, seldom seen in any grade. We've sold only three examples of the eleven lowest denominations. The two highest denominations, the $50 and $100 notes, are a larger size, and while still quite rare, they are far more common than the $15 and lower pieces. This solid 25 has been Net graded for split repairs, which are two extremely minor ones at the right edge. Unpriced in any grade in Newman.From The Midnight Ride Collection
