Virginia May 5, 1777 $6 PMG Extremely Fine 40 EPQ.Printed on entirely original thick paper with bold blue fibers, this $6 example features a partially handwritten date. The note was produced by Alexander Purdie and bears a misspelling in the Virginia arms at left, where TYRANNIS is incorrectly printed as TYRANNUS. We are rarely afforded the privilege of offering a representative of Fr. VA-118 this nice.
