Rhode Island May 22, 1777 $1/8 PCGS Apparent Very Fine 25. These notes were issued in an attempt to relieve the shortage of small change. John I. Clark's signature remains bold on this lovely example. The apparent grade is due to repaired edge tears and corner restoration at upper right and upper left per PCGS. The repairs were nicely performed and this example retains good eye appeal.Auction Info
