Description
Rhode Island May 1786 9d PCGS Superb Gem New 68PPQ.PCGS has graded fifty-three examples, with this and one other tied at the top of the population report. PMG has graded a few 67s but no 68, making this tied with one other note for the finest at both services combined. Certainly not a rare note, but a must-have for the condition specialist.
