Description
Rhode Island June 16, 1775 10s PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 40.A rare series, seldom seen above the VG grade. This is one of the highest grade specimens we have handled for any of the denominations. The apparent grade has been assigned for a small edge split at the left and minor stains. Both signatures, including the red signature, are quite strong. The back is perfectly centered and the Rhode Island state seal, with its evocative anchor, is clear and sharp.
