Pennsylvania May 20, 1758 20s PMG Very Fine 20.
A modestly well preserved note that was printed by Ben Franklin, this piece was signed by Charles Thomson, Samuel Wharton, and Stephen Woolley. Thomson was the Secretary of the Continental Congress and served in that role for the entire fifteen years of its existence. He also notified Washington that he had been nominated for the presidency. This piece features the imprint on back "Printed by B. Franklin and D. Hall, 1758" and a leaf at center with XX. PMG mentions this example has been tape repaired.
