North Carolina December, 1771 £1 PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 40.The I. ASHE stamp on the back bled partially through to the face on this example. According to the notations on the holder, PCGS assigned the apparent grade due to repaired splits and tears. An endorsement on the back reads, "from N Wilder To Thos Wise."
