Description

North Carolina April 2, 1776 $5 Extremely Fine. This is one of the very nicest examples we've seen of this note with its popular Triton vignette. It's a well margined piece, with four strong signatures and a strong serial number. As with most North Carolina notes, there is some contemporary writing on the blank back. In this case, it's several math problems. This is an attractive and important piece of Colonial Currency.
