Description
New Jersey 1786 12s Very Fine. One of the nicest printed examples of this later date New Jersey issue that we have seen. From the face the print quality is unfathomably beautiful, the signatures are bold and the margins bountiful on all sides. Plenty of original embossing shows through to the back. Values on this issue has been battered in recent years due to the appearance and reappearance of a handful of problemed and restored examples. This note is clearly near the top of the condition census and it realized around $2,750 in a Stacks sale a couple of years ago.Auction Info
