Description
Massachusetts October 18, 1776 8d Very Fine. A well printed, well margined, handsome example of a Codfish note. The face was printed by Paul Revere; and the plates for the face were partially engraved by Paul Revere and partially by Nathaniel Hurd. The backs were typeset and printed by John Gill. The print quality of this example is far above that which is normally seen, but the signature has faded.Auction Info
