Description
Massachusetts October 16, 1778 4d PMG Uncirculated 62.A robust looking "Codfish note," this example has a thickly-applied serial number and Cranch signature. As bright and fresh as the day it was printed, a tight top margin appears to be the only facet limiting this note from a higher grade.
