Massachusetts May 5, 1780 $5 PCGS Very Fine 35PPQ.A well margined, fully signed, uncancelled note that earned the PPQ designation from PCGS. The red ink signature of Loammi Baldwin has faded, but can still be discerned. Among other accomplishments, Baldwin was known for developing the Baldwin apple and as the person responsible for the construction of the Middlesex Canal.
