Description
Massachusetts June 18, 1776 5s Very Fine-Extremely Fine. This Small Change note is from the issue where the larger-denomination notes bear the small Sword in Hand vignette on their faces. These lower-denomination notes are actually considerably scarcer than their more expensive high-denomination counterparts. When Small Change pieces are encountered, they are almost always low-grade and very badly cut. This piece is extremely well margined and totally problem-free. It's one of the few really nice examples of its type that we've seen. Est. 750up
