Attractive Sword in Hand Massachusetts 24 Shillings
Massachusetts August 18, 1775 24s PMG Extremely Fine 40.The back design, featuring a Colonial soldier with sword in hand, was a provocative design pointing to the Colonies' desire for freedom from the British. The soldier holding the Magna Carta points to the Brits own document outline for freedom. Each of the design elements is bold, with some split repairs noted.
