Description
Massachusetts 1779 4s PMG Very Fine 30 Net. George Partridge was the signer of this Rising Sun note. The back plate uses the same type and cast cuts as the Codfish issues, but the face plate was newly engraved by Paul Revere. Revere also printed the faces, and as with the previous Codfish issue, Thomas Fleet printed the backs. A hole repair was cited by PMG as the reason for the net grade.Auction Info
