Description
Massachusetts 1779 4s PCGS About New 50. A really lovely, lightly circulated Rising Sun note. The paper has some light scattered aging, but the overall eye appeal is excellent, and it's helped considerably by four nice, even margins. The back plate uses the same type and cast cuts as the Codfish issues, but the face plate is newly engraved, again by Paul Revere. Revere also printed the faces, and as with the previous Codfish issue, Thomas Fleet printed the backs.Auction Info
