Description
Massachusetts 1779 3s Extremely Fine. A very well printed, well margined Rising Sun Note with a strong signature and overall nice appearance. Paul Revere engraved the face plates and printed the faces of these bills. The backs were made from set type and cuts previously used on the Codfish Issue and they were printed by Thomas Fleet. This note has some light aging but it does little to detract.Auction Info
