Maryland July 26, 1775 $1 2/3 PMG Very Fine 25.This note was part of an emission made to support the manufacture of gunpowder, and not surprisingly has quite detailed vignettes presenting the colonies' views on their relationship with Great Britain. The notes from this series are, as a result, quite popular and in demand when they appear. Notes from this issue are often heavily circulated, but this piece is an attractive VF, with PMG mentioning only some small tears that are not obvious and do nothing to draw attention to their presence.
