Description
Georgia 1776 6d PMG Choice About Unc 58 EPQ.A gorgeous example that has two bold signatures, one of which is William Few, who became a signer of the U.S. Constitution in 1787. The 58 EPQ grade is an extraordinarily high grade not only for this denomination, but also for the entire issue. PMG has graded a number of notes from this 1776 sterling denominated issue, but not a single example of any denomination has yet graded above the 58 EPQ level, with only two other pieces being equal. This 6d is the highest yet PMG graded of this denomination and that by eight grade points.
