Description
Georgia 1774 10s PCGS Apparent Fine 12.Unpriced in either Newman or Friedberg and this is the only example graded at either service. In fact only this note and two others have been graded at both services combined for the entire five denomination issue. It is certainly the first we have handled. The Apparent grade has been assigned for "Splits, Tears, and Damage; Backed," all of which is certainly accurate. The six signatures are strong and legible as is all of the text and design that is present, although some small areas are missing at the edges. In the hands of a professional restorer, this would likely become a very good looking Apparent 25. Super rare.
