Description

Delaware May 1, 1777 6d PCGS Gem New 66PPQ.
5,454 examples of this denomination were issued, featuring the new state arms. The paper contains mica flakes and blue fibers. Legal tender status for these notes was discontinued in 1780. As would be expected for the grade, all margins are sharp and clear and the handwritten information is bold and dark. A pretty example worthy of almost any colonial collection.
