Continental Currency November 29, 1775 $4 PMG Choice About Unc
58 EPQ.Part of a rather large emission of $3,000,000 in Continentals payable in Spanish milled dollars and authorized on November 29, 1775, this $4 features an emblem of a wild boar charging a spear at right surrounded by the words AUT MORS AUT VITA DECORA (Either death or an honorable life). Readily legible signatures of M(ordecai) Lewis and Tho(mas) Morris are located at lower left on this handsome piece. The note is printed on entirely original paper surfaces with no significant condition detractors.
