Continental Currency November 2, 1776 $5 PMG Very Fine 30.The Resolutions of November 2, 1776, and December 28, 1776, authorized $5,000,000 in Continental Currency to be issued. The November 2, 1776, Resolution also approved the emission of a fractionally denomination series, but these notes' production was abandoned due to the fact that the fractional notes from the February 17, 1776, emission were still in sufficient supply during this time. The note offered here features a vignette of a hand being pricked by thorns at left.
