Description

Continental Currency November 2, 1776 $4 PMG Very Fine 25.
Part of an emission of $5,000,000, this $4 note features a popular emblem depicting a wild boar charging a lowered spear with the interesting motto AUT MORS AUT VITA DECORA (Either death or an honorable life) on the face and a nature print of skeletonized maple fruit on the back. The note has seen moderate circulation but has clear design elements and signatures of Robert Dorsey and Richard Cromwell with no repairs or glaring impairments noted.
