Description

Continental Currency May 10, 1775 $8 PCGS Banknote About Unc 50.
The $8 design from this May 10, 1775 series features an emblem at left containing a harp with 13 strings of different sizes. These 13 strings symbolize the unity of the 13 Colonies, all of which which possessed varying boundaries and dimensions. The motto surrounding the vignette reads MAJORA MINORIBUS CONSONANT (The large colonies and the small colonies are in harmony). Our current offering saw limited time in circulation and did not attract any significant condition problems.
