Continental Currency February 17, 1776 $1/3 PMG Fine 12.The devices and border cuts for this $1/3 Fugio note were produced by Elisha Gallaudet of New York City who moved shortly after his work with these notes to Freehold, NJ. Despite extensive wear and several tears, the Fugio emblem at left remains clear on this popular piece.
