Continental Currency February 17, 1776 $1/2 PMG Choice About Unc 58 EPQ.A lovely $1/2 Fugio note which traces its provenance to the fabled Eric P. Newman collection, this example has the initial appearance of at least a Choice Uncirculated note within its PMG holder. The centering and wide margins are excellent, and the face-to-back registration is superior. Two years ago, we auctioned a PCGS Banknote Choice About 58 (no PPQ) example for $2,400.
