Continental Currency September 26, 1778 $5 PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ. Extraordinary Condition for any Continental. The highest by two points of the 25 examples that PMG has graded to date, the note certainly seems to have earned its high grade. The paper and ink colors are perfect, and both the brown and red signatures look as though they have been just applied. The note is also beautifully margined on both sides, and it clearly has retained the original surfaces of the paper, accounting for the EPQ comment.From The Midnight Ride Collection
