Continental Currency September 26, 1778 $20 PCGS Banknote Choice Unc 64.
The face of this note features an emblem depicting a strong wind creating waves with the motto VI CONCITATE (Driven by Force) while the back has a nature print of a buttercup leaf. The note is printed on bright paper with straight margins, sharp corners, and bold signatures of John Leacock and William Stretch. We are presently aware of only two notes that grade higher (both PMG 64 EPQs) than this sharp example.
