Finest Offering in Four Years

Continental Currency November 29, 1775 $8 PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.
A total of $3,000,000 in Continental Currency was authorized by the Resolution of November 29, 1775. Because the Resolution required numbering to be different from the previous emission, serial numbers were done in bright red ink. The note is printed on bright paper with excellent margins and well printed design elements. The face features a harp with thirteen strings representing the thirteen colonies and the motto MAJORA MINORIBUS CONSONANT (The large colonies and small colonies are in harmony). The back has a nature print of henbit and two buttercups. The signatures of John Bayard, a member of the Continental Congress, and Samuel Morris are bold and clear. Of the 62 examples of this note graded by PMG, this note is the highest graded note at present.
