Continental Currency November 29, 1775 $3 PMG About Uncirculated 55.The second issue comprised $3,000,000 in new notes and $10,000 in replacement notes for worn bills no longer fit for circulation. 83,611 notes were authorized for each denomination from $1 to $8. This well printed and well signed $3 saw only limited circulation.
