Continental Currency January 14, 1779 $45 PMG Choice Uncirculated 64 EPQ.A well printed example with dark signatures and embossing is offered here. PMG has graded four equal and only one piece higher. Our current offering is the second highest grade we have auctioned. The highest PMG graded $45 is a PMG 66 EPQ that we auctioned in January 2015 for $9,400. A comparison between that 66 EPQ and the 64 EPQ in this lot reveals that they are near identical all the way around in margin width.
