Continental Currency Blue Counterfeit Detector September 26, 1778 $40 Gem New. A lovely, well margined detector note with a bright blue tint, good original embossing and perfect print quality. Detector notes from this issue are printed on two different papers. The $5 that appears above is thin and tissue-like.
