Description
Top Pop Uncancelled June 19, 1776
Connecticut June 19, 1776 9d PMG Gem Uncirculated 66
EPQ.An utterly superb example of this issue which is printed on snow white paper with crisp and fresh surfaces and fully punched through embossing. The margins are broad on all sides with picture perfect centering and fantastic eye appeal. There are three other 66 EPQ notes for all denominations from this series, all of which we have sold in the past so that we know those others are slash cancelled. This same note was sold for $1,410 in our 2015 FUN sale. High grade examples, particularly if uncancelled, have been realizing staggering sums of money and we would expect no less here this evening.
