Connecticut June 1, 1773 2s 6d Uncancelled PCGS Apparent Very Fine 35.A rare uncancelled example that is worthy of serious consideration. The other examples called XF or VF of the ten listed in Track & Price are all slash cancelled. Tonight's offering has deeply printed devices, embossing, and a trio of bold red signatures. A very low serial number 80 is worthy of mention. Most examples we see are higher denomination pieces. PCGS notes edge splits.
