North Carolina May 15, 1779 $25 American Fortitude Displayed PCGS Apparent About New 53.The May 1779 North Carolina issue is not one of the hoard notes and is actually quite a bit tougher than most of the available series to obtain. This lightly circulated example has small edge splits and tears as well as repairs at left.
