Malaya Board of Commissioners of Currency 10,000 Dollars ND
(1942) Pick 17cts KNB17SS Color Trial Specimen PMG About
Uncirculated 50.Highest denomination of the Board of Commissioners of Currency series featuring King George VI. This denomination was curiously not dated, although it shares the common design of the 1942-dated large sized notes that were issued after World War II. Never issued to the public, this ultra-high denomination was used between banks. Interestingly, British printer Bradbury, Wilkinson & Company created Specimen, Color Trial Specimen, and Proofs for this denomination, which had a very narrow scope of use. Purple replaces orange and the green hues are darker than what is seen on normal Specimen. This example has small overprints on both sides and minor stains mentioned for accuracy. One of only eight examples present in the PMG Population Report. Very rare, desirable, and famously impressive.

1942年馬來亞貨幣發行局10,000元試色樣票。PMG About Uncirculated 50。此為馬來亞貨幣發行局所製作，印有佐治六世像的最高面額鈔票。雖然這款鈔票的設計，與印有1942年日期並於二戰後發行的大型鈔票同出一轍，但奇特地未有印上有年份。此鈔未有向公眾發行，其可觀的面值僅用於銀行間的結算。但有趣的是，英國印刷商巴布域偉堅遜公司仍然為這款用途甚為有限的鈔票製作了樣票、試色票和試印票。與樣票相比，這張試色票採以紫色取代橙色，而綠色亦較深。此例於正背面都帶有小型加蓋和輕微黃點。此為PMG數量報告的僅八例之一，稀罕難得，別具魅力，令人眼前一亮。
