Athens, GA - $10 1902 Red Seal Fr. 613 The Georgia National Bank
Ch. # (S)6525 PMG About Uncirculated 50.This beautiful note is one of the finest Red Seals reported from this Deep South state. It is one of about five dozen Georgia Red Seals reported and is easily in the condition census of that small group. This $10 is hugely margined all around with a deep red overprint, bold stamped signatures, and plenty of original embossing. The bright paper makes the blue and red fibers stand out beautifully in the open spaces on the back. If not for a solitary spindle hole, this pretty note would have likely received the EPQ designation from PMG. This is truly a great Georgia note fit for the finest of collections.
