Description
New York February 16, 1771 £1 PCGS Apparent Very Fine 25.We have only sold five examples of this much scarcer low denomination note. Although it was severed with tape stained repair at center and central damage it is still very desirable. The last 1 pound note that we sold was six years ago and that PCGS Apparent VF 20, with ugly tape repair stain, realized $143.75.
