Description

Georgia September 10, 1777 $7 PCGS Apparent Very Fine 35.
This is one gorgeous piece of Colonial Currency. The colored seal is razor sharp, showing every detail of the caduceus, liberty pole and cap, and horn of plenty. The margins are free of the border design all the way around and the restorations mentioned by PCGS are of minor ink erosion in one of the signatures. The note appears Extra Fine or better. Georgia is at the same time one of the rarest issuers of Colonial Currency and one of the most actively collected. Notes of this quality almost never reach the auction block and are sure to be hotly contested when the opportunity to purchase one arises.
