South Carolina April 10, 1778 20s PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 40. The apparent grade is due to a small plugged hole at the upper right which is barely noticeable. Despite the appearance of two very appealing examples of these 20 Shilling notes in recent sales, these notes are scarce, especially at these grade levels, and present a seldom seen opportunity for collectors.
