At the time of writing, Specimen are rarer than issued banknotes. For this 5 Balboas denomination, a mere 28 issued notes and 11 Specimen are graded in the PMG Population Report at the time of writing. Tastefully overprinted and cancelled by the Hamilton Bank Note Company, which printed this series. This infamous series of banknotes was issued for only seven days and few banknotes or Specimen remain to be collected today.
