China Bank of China 1 Dollar ND (1912) Pick UNL S/M#C294 Commemorative Front and Back Proof PMG About Uncirculated 50; Uncirculated 62 Net.
Amazing, beautiful, and extremely rare, this unlisted Proof was created to commemorate the birth of the Chinese Republic. This Proof is interesting in that the front side is complete as far as the design is concerned, but it was only printed in black and white. The back side is lacking issuer titles and signatures, and was printed in green and black. Each uniface side was previously mounted, but the blank side still displays nicely. The design elements of this note are most pretty and will appeal to collectors worldwide. Although never issued, a few prototypes were created which are very rare today. (Total: 2 notes)
