Fr. 18 $1 1869 Legal Tender PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.It is safe to state that 1869 Series $1 Legal Tender notes have always been and always will be in high demand, especially for wonderful examples like the note in this lot. This Rainbow Ace boasts a wide array of vibrant and visually appealing colors that leaves one in awe, from the blue swath to cherry red serials. This Fr. 18 managed to remain in an Uncirculated grade for over 150 years, and is now available to the collecting community to enjoy. Closed pinholes are mentioned, but they are hardly noticeable and take little away from this great note.
