Fr. 1509 $2 1953 Legal Tender Notes. Uncut Sheet of 18. PCGS Choice New 63PPQ.This uncut sheet of 18 has its serial numbers advanced by 8000 per note vertically down each column. This example bears serials 00000069 through 00088069. By order of Secretary of the Treasury George M. Humphrey, uncut sheet production was discontinued on January 6, 1954. In the years leading up to that date, individuals could purchase uncut sheets for nothing more than face value.
