Description

Lyndon, VT - $1 Original Fr. 380a The National Bank of Lyndon Ch. # 1140 PMG Very Fine 25.
An attractive Original Series Ace from this large only Vermont bank where most of its surviving $1 notes are of the 1875 persuasion. This is a bright mid-grade example that is well margined with pleasing color. Its only flaw is minor evidence of a previous mounting. Penned signatures are of Cashier S(amuel) B(uckley) Mattocks and President E(paphras) B(ull) Chase.
