Wortham, TX - $20 1902 Date Back Fr. 642 The First National Bank Ch. # (S)6686 PMG Choice Fine 15.Though available in small size, this Freestone County bank is downright rare in large with just four notes in the census, two of which are in institutional collections. This newly reported piece, therefore, provides an opportunity for today's collector to finally acquire a large note from this tough to acquire charter. It is rather circulated and stained, but maintains solid paper for the grade.
