Pawtucket, RI - $5 1882 Brown Back Fr. 470 The Pacific National Bank of Pawtucket Ch. # 1616 PMG Very Fine 30 EPQ.A very rare Rhode Island note with this title. Its bank of origin issued only $5 Brown Backs after its title change away from The Pacific National Bank of North Providence in 1889 until its liquidation in 1900. This is one of only five notes reported with this second title, all of which are about equal in grade. This pleasing example displays good color, original surfaces, and very bold pen signatures.
